The Daredevils squad boasts a battery of seven Fast Bowlers. However, they have found it difficult bowling on the flat pitches of Feroz Shah Kotla and voices from the camp were asking for a greener track, one that can help the bowlers. This cry looks all set to be heard in the match against the KXIP tomorrow.
The DDCA and the curator have promised a greener track but the question remains, Will they fulfill their promise?
The past has been grim for the venue. The infamous one-day international between Sri Lanka and India here was called off due to a bad pitch. It was the same scenario then as well. The curator had tried to make a greener pitch but was unable to to do so correctly, with the ground being banned from international cricket for an year.
Hope second time its done right.
